Burrito Supper and Dance
Location(s)
Our 13th annual benefit Burrito Supper & Dance was held on Friday, October 26, at Blue Highways, 165 N. Central, Richland Center.
The supper featured tortillas with all the fixings, salsas, carnitas, beans, rice and homemade cakes and pies. Dancing was courtesy of the Kettle Creek String Band from Gays Mills who played, called, and taught old-time dance music, including squares, reels, polkas, and waltzes.
The event raised over raised almost $2000 which will further the Project’s work for the people and environment of Santa Teresa.
Sincere thanks to Jane Furchgott for organizing the benefit, Mary Bard for special assistance, all those who donated burrito fixings and desserts, the servers and kitchen staff, those who loaned equipment, members of Kettle Creek, and anyone else who helped out.
